Grand Teton Ranch Wedding | Grand Teton Wyoming

Thrilled is the adjective we would use to describe our excitement for Shannon and Eric’s Turpin Meadow Ranch Wedding in Jackson Wyoming, just outside of Grand Teton National Park. We had been to the Jackson area a few times in the past, only being able to dream of shooting a wedding in the area. Grand Teton is perhaps one of the most stunning landscapes in North America, and an incredible destination for a wedding.

We wanted to make the most of it for Shannon and Eric, so we made sure to cover their welcome party the Friday before the wedding and take the opportunity to meet their amazing family and friends. It was the perfect evening, and an event we can’t recommend enough that everyone have at their own wedding. Most importantly to us, is that it allowed us to get to know everyone and build a level of comfort with guests and family members for the day ahead.

The wedding day began in the cabin that Shannon and the other members of the bride’s tribe were sharing to get ready that morning. From the moment we arrived, we couldn’t help but be overwhelmed by all the amazing little details Shannon and Eric had up their sleeves. Their invitations and paper goods were some of our favorites we had ever seen, and every aspect was meticulously thought out with their guests in mind.

After a morning of fun with the guys and girls, we headed to the ceremony site in the meadow just near the lodge overlooking the magnificent Teton mountains. The ceremony was perfect, full of emotion, and performed by a close friend. From there, it was time to celebrate, and the summer heat didn’t hold anyone back as their friends and family hit the dance floor.

We got one final bit of time with the couple at sunset where we unwittingly put Shannon behind the wheel of a golf cart and headed towards the edge of the meadow. To this day we have never seen someone have so much fun driving anything. It was the perfect end to a perfect day, two people happily married already enjoying every moment.
