Spring UW Engagement Session | Seattle Wedding Photographers
Carissa & Scott’s Adventure | A Spring Engagement Session at the University of Washington
Carissa is a graduate of the University of Washington, so a UW engagement session was perfect for her and Scott this spring! Not to mention, the campus is beautiful. Both in its architechture, and the greenery (and pinkery!) We missed prime cherry blossom season by a couple weeks, but luckily we walked around long enough to find the last few blooming trees on campus. Joe and I get a little bit ridiculous with throwing plants during engagement sessions. And since that also sounded ridiculous, let me explain. We have an affinity for leaves and petals floating through the air in images, and since that rarely happens on its own, in perfect timing with photos, we end up throwing a lot of petals and leaves at our couples during sessions. Cherry blossoms happen to look extra romantic, so this technique happened quite a bit this spring! My absolute favorite image of this “technique” happened at Carissa and Scotts session. Carissa and Scott, thanks for being so cute for us, and putting up with all our weird photographic “techniques.” Can’t wait for your wedding in September!
