Brenna & Cory’s Love Story | A DIY Nautical Tyee Yacht Club Wedding

We waited to share this amazing Tyee Yacht Club wedding with you because it was being published in Seattle Bride Magazine! Now that the fall/winter edition is out, we can finally show you all of Brenna & Cory’s DIY nautical wedding at the Tyee Yacht Club on Lake Union. Brenna and Cory were another one of our flagship Seattle couples. They sent us an inquiry shortly after we announced we were moving to Seattle, and we knew from the second we read their message we would get along great. Among the first things the mentioned were their laid back attitudes, love for the outdoors, and their chocolate lab, Dutch. Not to mention, Brenna is an extremely talented DIYer, and took on a number of projects that made their wedding unique! From the bunting, to the arbor, to the ceterpieces and even the programs – she made it all! When it came to the week of their wedding, rain was in the forecast. But even bouncing around photo locations and buying umbrellas for the bridal party the week of the wedding couldn’t curb their excitement and emotions for the day. Thankfully we were able to have their first look in amazing weather, and utilize an amazing greenhouse for wedding party portraits – and even the matching umbrellas ended up fitting their fall Seattle wedding perfectly. Like fate, the sun came out for the ceremony, and graced us with a beautiful sunset for photos during cocktail hour.
