River Market Engagement Session | Seattle Wedding Photographers

I love a lot of things about engagement sessions, but probably my favorite ones are the type when we feel like we’re just hanging out with a couple, getting to know them, doing something they love, and capturing them in their element. Sean and Maddie’s River Market Engagement Session was all this and more. We met them at City Market Park with the plan of just moseying around the River Market community for a few hours at sunset. It was so much fun to hang out with these two, get to know each other, and photograph them in the meantime! Can you say model material? They didn’t let us take them too seriously, though, and they made each other laugh effortlessly throughout the night. Joe and I have never had the opportunity to really take in everything the River Market has to offer, and it was awesome to be able to stroll around the riverfront, check out all the textured brick walls (mostly that was me, if I’m going to be totally honest. But there are SO many good walls down there!), and walk around some of the local businesses. We found colorful storefronts, a hydroponic garden, and a restaurant that had the most romantic bulb lights hung over their patio. So, naturally, we ended with sunset there. Nothing better than ending an engagement session with the mysteriously romantic “almost kiss” shot!
