Caitlin & Collin’s Love Story | Fall Prairiewood Wedding in Manhattan, Kansas
Last July we bid Manhattan, Kansas fairwell and moved to Seattle. Fortunately it wasn’t for too long, since we had a few amazing weddings to travel back to Kansas for! Our last Kansas wedding of 2015 was Caitlin and Collin’s Prairiewood Wedding at the Blue Sage Barn. Their wedding was the perfect last chapter of many great weddings we photographed in Manhattan (although we’re crossing our fingers we’ll be back for more!) As photographers, we couldn’t ask for a more laid back, fun, in-love (I mean seriously, just look at that first-look), up-for-anything couple than these two. They have an amazing attitude towards life, and it really made their wedding day special. The morning started at Prairiewood’s gorgeous Stone House, where Caitlin and the ladies had a special wedding brunch and finished getting ready. The entirety of Prairewood’s property totally fit with Catilin’s style, and we couldn’t have asked for an easier venue to photograph at. Everywhere we turned all day there was a new, more beautiful location to drag Caitlin and Collin to. Good thing they left plenty of time for photos! As the day went on, it only got better. From their amazing ceremony in the meadow, to some fun photos at Walnut Pond, and all the laugter in between. Finally, as a last hoorah, Kansas gave us one of the greatest sunsets either of us have ever photographed. The sun set was a perfect ending to their magical Prairiewood Wedding day.
