Prairiewood Retreat Wedding | Seattle Wedding Photographers
Kristin and Trey had a beautiful, intimate wedding at Prairiewood Retreat in Manhattan Kansas. Although their guest list was small, the love shared between that small group of people was enormous. Kristin and Trey were actually the only couple we photographed this winter who did not have snow at their wedding. It was a chilly, but gorgeous day. Kristin and Trey both got ready and had their reception at the small guest house at Prairiewood Retreat. The setting was perfect for the intimate feel of their day. Their ceremony took place at the Main Post Chapel on Fort Riley, where they both read hand-written vows to one another. Those vows were just one of the many personal touches scattered throughout Kristin and Trey’s day; from personalized sneakers, to a bracelets in memory of her brother and his best friend, to tables decorated in photos from their relationship. Everything Kristin and Trey put into their day made it more personal and genuine to the two of them and the start of their lives together. At the end of the night, we had a blast taking the two of them into the fields at Prairiewood Retreat with the sunset glowing in the background. Kristin and Trey, we feel so incredibly honored to have been a part of your Prairiewood Retreat wedding day. You and your families are some of the most genuine, fun people we’ve ever had the pleasure of getting to know. We wish you many, many happy years!
