Mariah & Steffen | Olympic National Park Elopement

When Mariah and Steffen first contacted us about their plans for an Olympic National Park elopement, we were stoked! We love Olympic National Park and we can think of no better place to say your I dos than among the giant trees. They planned to bring just their family and closest friends with them for their small, heartfelt ceremony in the forest. Everyone got ready at the cabins at Sol Duc Hot Springs, and they picked out a ceremony spot in the forest nearby. A moss covered tree made for the perfect natural arbor for their guests to gather around. After the ceremony we took Mariah and Steffen on a hike to Sol Duc Falls for portraits. They were up for anything, even in their wedding attire. During the hike, friends and family made their way back to Port Angeles for the woodland inspired reception. We made it back from our hike just in time to watch the sunset on the bluff. Just like their ceremony, the reception was simple and focused on the joy of their love for each other and sharing it with family and friends. And there was pizza, so there’s that. We so love being a part of these intimate elopements!
