Anny & Allen’s Adventure | North Cascades National Park and Diablo Lake Engagement Photos

Anny and Allen booked us for their North Cascades Adventure session after initially contacting us about their wedding. Unfortunately we were already booked, but they wanted us to take their engagement photos for them anyway! We love being able to create incredible photographs for couples, even if we’re unavailable for the main event. After a bit of back-and-forth, we landed on the idea of heading up to North Cascades National Park to adventure around. Its funny how some of our favorite sessions are preceded by such little planning. Aside from knowing about the gorgeous overlook at Diablo Lake, Joe and I arrived in the park just an hour prior to meeting Anny and Allen. We took a little drive up the road and scouted a few spots, but we made multiple unplanned stops along the way. Sometimes, spontaneity is the best! (and this is coming from someone with a strict Type-A personality). Anny and Allen are, as you can tell, adorable together, and they were up for anything in the name of adventure! If you ever get a chance, we’d highly recommend driving the North Cascades Highway 20. We can’t wait for our next chance to get up into the mountains there again!
