Caitlin & Adam’s Adventure | Deer Park Engagement Photos

Sometimes, you get totally lucky with a session and everything falls in place perfectly. I like to thing planning makes perfect, but sometimes the best things come about in a more spontaneous way. Cailtin and Adam’s Deer Park Engagement Photos were happened in the latter way. They were hoping to send out their Save the Dates soon, so we squeezed them into our summer schedule. Joe and I had been dying to get up to Deer Park Road for the first time, and we are so thankful they were more than happy to join us. We met in Port Angeles, all piled in the Subaru and started the drive up towards Deer Park Campground. As far as human beings go, we can tell you Caitlin and Adam are some of the coolest. We got to know them on our little excursion up the mountain, so when we all hopped out of the car (and got pummeled by summer mosquitoes) we were so ready to start capturing their relationship. Caitlin and Adam were able to be so vulnerable and expressive in front of the camera with their relationship, which made their images so easy to capture. On top of that, the scenery up at the top of Deer Park Road was even better than we had imagined, and you can see for miles. Some forest fires in Olympic National Park even caused the sun to glow orange with haze as it set slowly behind the mountains. Up at the top of Deer Park Road, the view of the mountains of Olympic National Park is unparalelled. It is the perfect spot for engagement photos of a pair of adventurous souls.
