Bellingham Engagement Session | Seattle Wedding Photographers
Hilary and Brett’s Bellingham engagement session is definitely going down in the books as an all time favorite. These two were a very last minute addition to our fall Seattle trip. We squeezed them, and a trip to Bellingham in on our very last free day in town, just the day before the left. And we are so glad we did! We took a very round-about way to get up to Bellingham that day, causing us to drive through Fall City, Washington, and right by Tree House Point! We were only a little bit excited, and off course stopped on the side of the road tourist style and took a photo with their sign. (It is a big dream of ours to photograph a wedding at Tree House Point – and probably also to get Pete Nelson’s autograph.) We drove through some absolutely gorgeous countryside that I much preferred to I-5, and arrived in Bellingham with time to spare before meeting Hilary and Brett at Hovander Park Homestead. The Homestead was the perfect place for their country engagement session – complete with an old Studebaker! (Joe was just a little bit excited about that part) The hay bales, the big red barn, even the road into the park was lined with trees and fit the feel perfectly. Hilary and Brett were so playful with one another while we were photographing them, they almost made our jobs too easy because we hardly had to pose them at all. But when we did have a crazy idea, they were up for it 100%. Can’t wait to see these two again in July for their wedding!
