Elizabeth & Dayton | Bainbridge Engagement Photos
This was our first time photographing an engagement session at Grand Forest West on Bainbridge Island. If we’re being honest, we’d never even set foot inside the park before the session. We actually found the location using Google Maps. About once a year we get a little restless offering up and shooting at the same locations. There are almost an infinite number of places to photograph, but most of the time the better known spots closer to Seattle get used more often! So, we go on a search to find some new locations to add to our repertoire. Sometimes we go driving, and other times we go virtual driving on Maps! Our initial thought about Grand Forest West was, “hey, this could be a cool spot with trees.” (That may even have been how we described it to Elizabeth & Dayton!) But we were pleasantly surprised that the park offered so much more than we thought! It was a chilly January day but we had so much fun exploring a small section of the trails with these two. They kept each other warm and smiling – and the sun even joined us for a bit!
