We knew right from Wendy and Shane’s engagement session they would be a fun couple to photograph. You can check out their softball themed engagement session here. They were incredibly photogenic, adventurous, and in love with each other that they made our jobs easy. Wendy and Shane’s Seneca Kansas winter wedding was just as amazing. Even single digit temperatures and a wind chill that would make you want to run and hide under a pile of blankets didn’t keep the spirit down on their day. All Wendy’s bridesmaids wore leggings under their dresses and everyone was CHAMPS about the few photos we took outside in the cold. Thankfully, Wendy and Shane’s church couldn’t have been more beautiful if it tried, and portraits inside in the warmth turned out better than we could have ever hoped for. Plus, the gorgeous warmly lit church made for such a romantic atmosphere for bridal portraits. By the end of the night, snow had started falling, and we knew we had to drag the bride and groom outside for one last set of photos in the snow. Don’t those snow photos just have you HOPING for precipitation on your wedding day? If not hoping, at least feel comforted by the fact if it does rain or snow while we’re shooting your wedding, we’ve got you more than covered with some gorgeous portraits unlike anything else.
