Sometimes being adventurous means you win some and loose some. Alycia and David’s Mount Ranier Engagement Session was supposed to be an engagement session in Paradise. (how cool does that sound?) But, it decided to snow, a lot, at Paradise the day of their shoot, and the National Park Service closed the road for safety. This left us “stuck” shooting their engagement session around Longmire, which actually wasn’t too shabby! It was a damp, overcast day and that only added to the earthy, romantic, cozy walk-in-the-woods feel their session had. Alycia and David were so comfortable snuggled up together, we couldn’t help gravitating towards our closest poses with them. When we ran out of daylight, we stopped to catch one last photo with the fog rolling down the mountain. The headlights from our car worked perfectly to light up the fog. We love it when we end a session with a creative image like that!
